Book Review: Lorelei James’ All Jacked Up – KD Did It Edits
Now they have to act like they love each other and learn about each other. Bring on Kane, I’m waiting. Unfortunately no can do because it turns out Keely needs on Jack to make her dream of opening a health care center in Sundance come true. I loved how her family stood by her in making this choices and when her brothers happen to take matters in their hands when they think their baby sister has been hurt.
In the previous books, where her brothers all found happiness, it was Keely who always set them straight when they were behaving all stubborn and alpha and it was Keely who pointed them in the right direction when the women turned their lives upside down.
The lone girl in the prolific McKay family, Keely needs another man giving her orders like she needs a hole in her boot.
The purpose is erotic sex.
Otherwise, this book is close to perfect. Their loreoei may have started out as sex for the sake of sex, but it didn’t take long for romantic feelings to develop even if they were reluctant to tell each other.
All told, I found this to be the strongest book in the series. A smoking hot hero, an amazing heroine, a fake engagement and scorching hot chemistry – I mean what is not to love? These two had had a “hate” relationship for years Jack is this close to securing Pulling off the ultimate con James to start another series. How many freaking babies!
All Jacked Up (Rough Riders #8) by Lorelei James
The witty comebacks, the pure hatred sparayed from their mouths towards each other, then the whole friends to lovers thing. Thusly, a sham engagement is born, and hijinks ensue. Will there ever be a Lorelei James book that doesn’t make me cry in the end? Let me tell you, the McKays are one fertile and expanding bunch.
I enjoyed the story enough in the end to push it to a 4-star rating, but for a lot of the story I had a hard time buying Jp or Keely could get past their issues.
Will feelings get hurt? Keely, once I had more of her story, turned out to be a heroine I could cheer for, and Jack a hero I adored.
All Jacked Up (Rough Riders 8)
He has always wanted a firecracker like Keely in his life. Her snarky, comedic banter makes her the most interesting character in the series IMHO.
The farther they stay away from each other, the better. Their banter is comical.

Pulling off the ultimate con…if they can keep from pulling off their clothes. I am head over heels for LJ cowboy romance. The protective urges of the alpha male, and the McKays are all alphas, every single one of them, were all over the place. Names career making opportunity is closed to him because of his lack of marital status.
Having to fake their way through things with her family and his business contacts they find themselves getting closer than they want to.
Lists with This Book. I loved every moment the McKay boys stepped in to protect their lil sis, oh especially when her father did lol! The McKays remind Jack of the humble upbringing he left behind, and cowgirl Keely feels she doesn’t measure up to Jack’s big-city lifestyle. Every time one of jacksd McKay boys—or her dad!
